Showcasing your authentic self

 

One big question: “How do I stand out to college coaches at camp?” 🤨

The big picture: We can’t rely on going 3-for-3 or striking out the side to catch the eye of coaches in this process. This is a reality of the challenging game we’ve chosen – and love.

Why it matters: If we define a successful baseball event by on-field perfection, we are vulnerable to disappointment and derailment in our first encounter with adversity.

  • We must accept the inevitable ups and downs of on-field performance – and therefore broaden the definition and approach we take to “standing out.”

Zoom in: We encourage you to consider – and invest energy in – approaching this summer with more than athletic performance between the lines as the sole priority and metric of success.

  • 🚧: Doing otherwise will come at the expense of the well-rounded you – which is what coaches are evaluating and seeking above all else.
